Events - What's on?

Coming up:

July 5th - Vigil at Newcastle Haymarket

On Friday 5th July, from 5pm, we will be at the Haymarket in Newcastke to remind people that Brexit doesn't have to happen, and that staying in the EU is a good deal, and better than any deal or no-deal Brexit.

Come along and say hello, and if you have time come and join us for a while.

Beacon of Light, Keir Hardie Way,

July 13th - Durham Gala

The Durham Gala remembers the rich industrial traditions of the North East, and attracts key labour party figures from across the country.

Our region was famous for its exports of coal and ships and is still a vital region for the UK economy - the only region that is a next exporter of goods.

A Boris-style NoDeal Brexit would devastate the region, from the industries of Teesside and Sunderland to the hill farmers of Northumberland.

Come and join us as we celebrate Gala Day and the importance of Europe for our region.

July 20th - March for Change

We will be making sure that the North East of England is well represented at the March for Change taking place in London on July 20th, just before the new Conservative leader is announced - the Conservative party changing their leader, or the Prime Minister is not enough. The country needs a change of direction and a chance to stop Brexit.

We will be arranging coaches to help people get to London, and meet up points in London. Watch this space for more details.

October 12th - People's Vote March on Parliament

Its a little way off, but book the date - October 12th. As the next Brexit or not-Brexit deadline approaches, we will again be in London in big numbers to demand that the people be heard. Over three years since the last referendum, and with the Leave campaign promises in tatters ("an easy deal", "we will be better off", "the NHS will have lots of money" ...) it is only right that the people of the UK are asked if this is what they want and voted for.
