March for Sunderland

On October 6th we will be celebrating Sunderland's strengths and its strong business and cultural links with Europe and demanding that the people of Sunderland and across the country should have the final say in a #peoplesvote on the final Brexit deal.

Join us in Mowbray Park (near the War Memorial and Winter Gardens) from 1.30pm, for a march to Keel Square at 2pm and a rally with a great set of local, regional and national speakers including representatives from the Labour, Conservative, Liberal Democrat and Green parties, the NHS and others:

Getting there

Sunderland mainline and Metro stations are close to both Mowbray Park and Keel Square. Car parking is available at Sunderland Civic Centre (SR2 7SN) opposite Mowbray Park, and St Mary's car park (SR1 3AH) close to Keel Square, as well as The Bridges shopping centre car parks at SR1 3DR and SR1 3PZ (The actual march route is well under 1 mile, but if that is too far, then people can of course go straight to Keel Square for 2pm)
